TOWN OF UPPER MARLBORO JULY 27, 2020 SPECIAL ELECTION
VOTER REGISTRATION AND CANDIDATE FILING

Deadline to register to vote in the July 27, 2020 Special Election for Commissioner of the Town of Upper Marlboro is Monday, June 29, 2020 C.O.B. Registration with the Prince George’s County Board of Elections by a voter who resides in the corporate limits of the Town and whose address is reflected on the rolls as a Town resident shall be deemed already registered for this Special Town Election to fill one vacancy on the Board of Town Commissioners for the remainder of the current term expiring January 10, 2022. A person continues to have the choice to register only with the Town for its elections and not to register with the PGC Board of Elections. Persons desiring to register only with the Town may register by email at info@uppermarlboromd.gov, or by calling Town Hall at: 301-627-6905 ext. 1102. Registration shall be permanent, and no person shall be entitled to vote in Town elections unless they are registered to vote at least thirty (30) days prior to the election.  Also, residents qualified to hold the office of Commissioner and desiring to be a candidate shall file with the Board of Supervisors of Elections by email, a written statement to that effect on or before Monday, June 29, 2020 C.O.B.
