Directions & Parking
The Town of Upper Marlboro is located near the near the crossroads of Rt. 301 and Pennsylvania Ave (Rt. 4) in Prince George’s County Maryland and is accessible from the Capital Beltway via exits at Ritchie-Marlboro Road, Rt. 202 or Route 4.
The Town of Upper Marlboro maintains parking meters along Main Street, Pratt Street, Water Street, and Elm Street, in the Downtown area near the Courthouse and County Administration Building. These meters charge a rate of $2.50 per hour Monday thru Saturday. Street meters accept credit cards and coins. Parking is enforced the the Town of Upper Marlboro Police. Prince George’s County also maintains their meters at the Courthouse Parking Lot, and on Gov Oden-Bowie Drive around the County Administration Building, enforced by the County Revenue Authority (call: 301-772-2060 for County-issued tickets).
Church Street Parking Lot
The Town maintains a downtown parking lot at 14525 Church Street (behind Bank of America) within walking distance of the Courthouse open Monday-Friday 8 am-6 pm. Credit Cards & Coins accepted here. Parking Rate: $0.50 an hour, max 10 hours. To purchase a parking pass for $40.00 per month, or, $12 per week please call Town Hall at 301-627-6905.
Pratt Street Pparking Lot
While not Town owned or maintained, the Pratt Street lot located at 14821 Pratt St Upper Marlboro, MD 20772, is a popular parking location and is privately owned by Holly Property Augment. Parking tickets are not issued at this lot. Please contact Holly Management for details at 301-627-1979.
Jury Duty Parking
The County offers free parking to the public at the Equestrian Center/Showplace Arena on Water Street south of Route 4. Ride the County’s free and frequent shuttle buses to the Courthouse, County Administration Building or other downtown destinations. Citizens reporting for jury duty at the Court House should park in the Equestrian Center unless otherwise directed.
The Town of Upper Marlboro is also served by TheBus, Prince George’s County’s public transportation service on Routes 20, 21, 51, and 53. For other public transportation options within Prince George’s County, visit the County’s transportation page. Metro does not yet provide service to the Town.
