High Heat Danger in Parked Car!

To demonstrate how quickly the interior temperature of a parked car can reach dangerous levels, a car with digital thermometers placed inside will be on display with video updates of the rising temperatures posted to the internet every hour.

“Interior temperatures of a parked car can rise as much as 30 degrees in as little as one hour. Every year, a child or a pet dies after being left in a parked car in the heat. It is our hope, with this car on display and through the use of social media, to demonstrate how fast and how hot the interior of a car can and will get” says Brian Kress of Marlboro Tire and Automotive.

The car will be on display this Friday July 22, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Marlboro Tire & Automotive, 15204 Marlboro Pike, Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
