President / Mayor Sarah Franklin
Sarah Franklin serves as the President of the Upper Marlboro Board of Commissioners. She has a Master’s Degree in Community Planning and experience in Town planning throughout the state of Maryland.
Sarah has worked to engage community and opened up conversations regarding the Town’s plans and vision for the future. Prior to her service as Commissioner she served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Upper Marlboro Events Committee where she worked with fellow committee members and Town staff to plan community events. Sarah has a passion for building community and enjoys connecting with nature.
