President/Mayor Linda Pennoyer
President Linda Pennoyer, a longtime Town of Upper Marlboro resident, was first elected as a Commissioner in 2016 and has served as a Commissioner and the Town’s Treasurer for her past two terms. During the January 2020 Town Elections, she was re-elected and selected to serve as President of the Board of Town Commissioners.
President Pennoyer has served on the Town’s Historical Committee, Sustainable Communities Workgroup, and the Marlborough Area Recreation Council. She is a graduate of the Maryland Academy for Excellence in Local Government, and currently serves on the Prince George’s County Municipal Association’s Board of Directors as Secretary.
