NOTICE OF A PROPOSED VACANT PROPERY TAX RATE INCREASE
For the taxable year beginning July 1, 2024, the Town of Upper Marlboro in Prince George’s County, Maryland proposes to increase the real property tax rate for residential vacant properties from $0.38 per $100 of assessment to $1.50 per $100 of assessment and commercial vacant properties from $0.57 per $100 of assessment to $1.50 per $100 of assessment.
A public hearing on the proposed real property tax rate increases for vacant properties will be held at 7:00 PM. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at the Town of Upper Marlboro Town Hall, 14211 School Lane, Upper Marlboro, Maryland 20772.
